In November final yr, 42 corporations, together with Daikin, Panasonic, Syska and Havells, with dedicated funding of Rs. 4,614 crore had been chosen.
In March this yr, the federal government had reopened the applying window for its Rs. 6,238-crore PLI scheme for air-conditioners (ACs) and LED lights with an purpose to accommodate extra gamers as a number of corporations had expressed curiosity within the initiative.
