Summer Special Trains: It is extremeply difficult to get a confirmed seat in a train during summer holidays. In order to fight this recurring problem passenger often face, Railways has announced to run several summer special trains.

In this series, Western Railway has decided to run three pairs of summer special trains- from Ahmedabad in Gujarat to Darbhanga in Bihar, from Ahmedabad to Samastipur Junction, and from Mumbai Central to Barauni. These trains will stop at many stations.

Summer Special Train: Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Summer Special Train

According to the tweet by Western Railway, from May 8, 2023, to June 26, 2023, Weekly Summer Special train (09421) will run from Ahmedabad to Darbhanga.

The train will leave Ahmedabad every Monday at 4.10 pm, and will reach Darbhanga on Wednesday at 2.15 pm.

In return, this train will run from 10 May 2023 to 28 June 2023. Darbhanga-Ahmedabad Weekly Special train (09422) will leave Darbhanga every Wednesday at 6:00 AM and reach Ahmedabad at 6:00 PM the next day.

 

Ahmedabad-Samastipur Jn Train

A pair of special trains will also run from Ahmedabad to Samastipur in Bihar.

This train from Ahmedabad will run from 9 May 2023 to 27 June 2023.

This train will run from Ahmedabad every Tuesday at 4.35 pm.

It will reach Samastipur station at 4 am on Thursday.

In return Samastipur-Ahmedabad Weekly Special (09414) will run from 11 May 2023 to 29 June 2023.

The train will leave Samastipur at 8.15 am on Thursday and reach Ahmedabad at 10.45 am the next day.

Mumbai-Barauni-Mumbai Summer Special Train

Summer special train (09061) will run from Mumbai Central to Barauni Junction in Bihar from May 9, 2023 to July 4, 2023.

The train will depart from Mumbai Central every Tuesday at 11 am and reach Barauni Junction at 6 am on Thursday.

In the return journey, Baraun Jn-Mumbai Central Weekly Special (09062) will run from 12 May 2023 to 7 July 2023.

This train will run from Barauni on Friday night at 10.30 pm and will reach on Sunday at 6.20 pm.
 

Trains will stop at these stations

The train from Ahmedabad to Darbhanga will stop at these stations- Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Bandikui Junction, Bharatpur, Achhnera Junction, Yamuna Bridge, Tundla Junction, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Unnao, Lucknow, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj and Sitamadhi.

The Ahmedabad-Samastipur train will halt at Vadodara, Surat, Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chhivki Junction, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Arrah, Patna and Barauni Junction in both the directions.
       
Mumbai-Barauni Summer Special Train will stop at Borevali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Achnera, Mathura, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Jaunpur City, Varanasi, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, Patliputra and Hajipur stations.
