How do I know which loan to choose? I’ve been exploring the idea of buying my first home and I absolutely have very little knowledge on all things home buying and being an adult. I am 23y/o, saved up a fair amount of money, 750+ on credit score, no debts/pending loans, I do not pay rent nor have substantial bills other than my daily necessities which goes to my credit card that is paid in full every month. Currently looking for a house thats around 300-410k, and willing to put down 50k. Again I don’t know shit so please explain everything to me as if I am a child which I honestly am (no good at this adulting stuff obviously). Is 50k a reasonable downpayment? How much should I expect to spend on top of that in closing. Would it be better to go through with FHA or Conventional? I’m hoping I can somehow keep my mortgage below $3000/mo then I can comfortably pay more on top of it. Does all this sound reasonable or am I absolutely delusional?
