Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the lost 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 2.76% or 84.00 points to trade at 3,129.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TASE:) added 2.64% or 141.00 points to end at 5,479.00 and Delek Group (TASE:) was up 2.61% or 1,200.00 points to 47,200.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electra Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.66% or 6,160.00 points to trade at 162,000.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:) declined 3.36% or 1,440.00 points to end at 41,400.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) was down 3.07% or 84.00 points to 2,654.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 231 to 228 and 38 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.33% or 0.25 to $75.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $79.56 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 10.95 to trade at $1,969.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.82% to 3.61, while EUR/ILS rose 0.19% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 100.61.
