Shares of Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ:) closed the Monday session 7.3% higher after Nancy Pelosi disclosed she invested in the cybersecurity firm.
In particular, the former Speaker of the House bought between $500,000 and $1 million worth of call options in PANW, according to a congressional trading form filed by Pelosi. The investment was made on February 12.
Pelosi also revealed acquiring a call option valued between $100,000 and $250,000. This investment was made on February 21, coinciding with a significant drop in the company’s shares following a downward revision of its annual revenue and billings forecast.
Over the past six months, Congressional members have engaged in 10 transactions involving PANW stock, with 7 being acquisitions and 3 sales.
