Cross-border payments provider, Send Payments, has appointed Jason McClintock (pictured) to the role of Chief Commercial Officer.

McClintock brings more than 25 years’ experience in various senior product and executive enterprise sales roles at Westpac, HSBC, American Express, Convera and most recently Worldpay.

Speaking on McClintock’s appointment, Send CEO Matt Barr said adding a commercial leader of Jason’s calibre to the team comes at a pivotal time for the business as it positions for strong growth in 2026 and beyond.

“Jason’s enterprise sales experience and understanding of the international payments landscape is unmatched and will be invaluable as we continue to broaden our enterprise partner network. We are thrilled to have him on board to drive our commercial strategy and next phase of growth via our embedded cross-border payments solutions.”

Send’s enterprise-grade platform reduces the barriers and complexity associated with offering global payments as a service. Send’s platform is currently utilised by partners including PEXA and Pay.com.au to provide safe, secure and seamless international payments in more than 100 currencies.

“It’s hard to work in the payments space and not admire what Send has built over the last 6 years. Their ability to simplify and de-risk international payments for consumers, businesses and enterprise partners is unrivalled and it’s a privilege to lead their commercial team.”

“The way they have seamlessly combined precision-built technology with human powered service is incredibly unique in the fintech world and something that excited me about joining the business.”

“Send has an exciting future ahead of it and I am thrilled to be joining an exceptional team who truly understand the needs of their customers and partners and work tirelessly to simplify international payments for everyone.”

McClintock’s appointment follows the recent launch of Send’s partnership with SMB payments juggernaut Pay.com.au and $5m AUD cap raise mid-way through 2025.
