“The market is still going to fixate on inflation, which is going to stay high and sticky at least over the next couple of quarters,” Luke Barrs, global head of fundamental equity client portfolio management at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, said on Bloomberg Television. “Waiting to see the Fed get a handle on inflation and then seeing some evidence that actually we might be getting to peak rates is probably what we need to see a concerted rally in equity markets.”
