London-based deep tech startup United Robots has unveiled a fleet of autonomous industrial cleaning robots. The startup received support from Aper Ventures and other investors to support the development and deployment of the robots.
The company claims the robots are designed to clean large, crowded spaces without compromising human safety. With advanced AI detection to navigate their surroundings, they can clean an area equivalent to two football fields on a single charge.
“Our robots are highly efficient and reliable; their real edge lies in their ability to work harmoniously with humans in crowded settings, in real-time,” says Dariusz Mankowski, CEO and co-founder of United Robots. “We’ve redesigned the traditional machine, enabling each robot to turn in place, making it the most agile autonomous scrubber available.”
Since its founding in 2016, United Robots has been developing autonomous robots for industrial cleaning. Its latest innovations were developed by a team of engineers with former Mars rover engineer Konrad Cop at the helm.
