UK Consumer Confidence indicator rose to -27 in May 2023 from -30 in April, improving for the fourth straight month as British households are becoming more optimistic about the economy and their finances despite persistent inflation.

This month’s figure was also the highest in 15 months and matched the consensus forecast.
